These are all machined from Alluminium and brass, will try stainless shortly.
All the styles of fuel tap bowls I currently make in polished brass and aluminium, these are made for the Suzuki GT750 GT550 380 JKLMAB models and Kawasaki H2 750 and H1 500, may fit more models but not tested yet. |
These fuel tap bowls are made from brass and designed to fit the Suzuki GT750 550 J/K models and the H2 750 and H1 500.
These will also fit the LMAB models and some owners prefer the deeper bowls on the later models.

Polished aluminium fuel tap bowl usually found on the Suzuki GT750 GT550 KLMAB models. |
There is a magnet pressed in to the centre of the fuel tap bowl which will attract any metallic particles that enter the bowl from the fuel tank. The particles that are trapped by the magnet are often really fine and would easily pass through the mesh filter.

Machining the outside profile of the fuel tap bowl on a CNC lathe. |

Brass fuel tap bowl, this also has the magnet pressed inside. |
Fitted to one of the new style fuel taps, new style being black rather than the silver metal colour, both the brass and aluminium looks nice against the black body. |
Bowl lightly screwed in for the photo. |
Fitted to one of the original fuel taps, this body I sprayed with silver paint about 12 years ago and starting to look a bit tatty. |
Fuel tap bowl for a Kawasaki H2 750 & H1 500
The one on the right is the original one, not too bad condition considering the age.
|
The fuel tap bowls also have the magnets in the base like the one I made for the Suzuki GT's
|
The magnet after it has been pressed in to the recess, the magnets are really brittle so have to machine the recess accurately as can not put any force on the magnet.
