In the Lanzarote photos you don't really get a feel for the height of the waves, most of the days there around the reef the waves were about 5m high, the first day there did require a change of underware.
 This
is only a few frames of the original animation of me down Stokes Bay,
its fairly windy ( force 5 ) with about 2 foot waves, nothing extreme
but still a good day out.
Its a bit foggy but you can just make out the Isle of Wight behind
the ship.
